As long as it doesn't affect who is actually applying for PR, there is no requirement to update IRCC.

Hi, I'm in a similar situation. My Father died while my PR application is still in progress (3.5 months after submission). Do I need to inform IRCC about his death?
My Mother might apply for a visitor visa in the future.
Please reply if anyone is in similar situation.
Thanks

Sorry for your loss. So he was the PA and you are getting PR through him? You must notify IRCC.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
No, this is my express entry application and I'm not sponsoring. I declared my parents information during submission.

No need to contact IRCC. I'm sorry for your loss.
