Hello everyone,

Applying for visitor visa for my in-laws ( 4 people in total, wife's parents, her brother and sister-in-law). My wife is currently a PR and a student. I am citizen.

1) I can submit 4 individual application under one family group in the same account or should I make 2 accounts, one for my wife's parents and other for her brother and sister-in-law?
2) Can we both invite them or it should be only me as she is not currently working?
3) I plan on sponsoring their visit and covering their expense. Is it still okay if they show their proof of funds for emergency purpose
4) While uploading documents, should there be a separate letter of explanation for each individual or it can be combined one for each couple.

Please feel free to add any other pointers which would be helpful.

1. Parents are one account and brother and SIL are another. They are not dependants.
2. Your wife invites them. Doesn't matter is she is unemployed.
3. They need to show their own funds in cash so around $10k per person. You can provide bank statements but IRCC wants to see they can afford to come to Canada. Letter of invitation includes that they will stay with you and cover some of their expense.
4. One per couple

They each need to show ties to return so job letter with approved leave, business, income property, children under 22. Keep visit to 2-3 weeks.

Thanks for quick response.
Along with wife, should I mention that i am also inviting them? As I will be providing my bank statements, employment proof.

Sure you can be included. You can include your proof of employment but not relevant to their applications. They need to show that they will return and have enough of their own cash to visit and leave.
