Hello any news? Timeline?

Have you looked at your estimated processing time? Processing times are now up to decades which is not a functional program so I would expect significant reforms to the program once bill c-12 passes. There is a very good chance the program will be culled and restarted with much more strict guidelines about who can apply. The government is also removing many people who have applied for H&C unless a response is imminent which rarely happened a year 1+ ago.

H&C is a pathway to get secure PR status and its program under IRPA so this stream is still open and can’t claim it as impossible for grant PR , you had better search about H&C factors then comment on it

Hello, yes, I contacted my MP. After she inquired about my application, she informed me that my file was approved in July 2025; however, IRCC has not yet issued the RFV. They asked me to contact them again in spring 2026 if no updates. My main concern is that they also mentioned my COPR expires in May 2026, so the timeline feels quite tight.

An officer manually triggers the RFV/PPR letter, so that's where the hold is. You can expect a minimum of 3 months validity (I've not seen validity less than that commonly).

I said "A minimum of 3 months" - which means more than 3 months or more is common. Reading is hard, eh? Marked you ignore!

It is very important to specify that you are part of the Americas H&C program. Most posting are part of the general H&C program which is why your situation and timeline didn’t make sense.
