Hello,
I am restoring to a visitor record after my work permit was refused. I want to stay longer and spend time with my GF. I was wondering for the letter of explanation should i just mention I want to spend time with her and want to do travelling, I have enough funds. Do i also need to explain that I will be leaving to go back to my country since I have family there.
Thanks

You explain that you need time to get organized and get affairs in order to leave, not to say you want to spend time with GF and travel. Show you have the funds and need xx number of days to wrap things up and leave.

We were thinking of somehow trying to move in and try for common law in the next few months but this is not guaranteed. ok so definitely I should mention i will be going home have family, job prospects etc

You can only apply for common law after one continuous year of living together so that is not an option unless you had already lived together for almost a year already. Based on your post you don’t live together now.
