I moved out of Canada in July 2025 and have been working in Dubai in the same NOC code as I did in Canada. I hold a bachelor’s degree (from Canada), have 2 years of work experience, a CLB 10 in English, and no French proficiency.

I am hoping to finish 1 year of FWE by Sept 2026 and (hopefully) receive an ITA under the CEC class by Nov/Dec 2026.

Is that a fair timeline? Anyone else in the same situation as me? Would love to know your experience with FWE so far.

Even if you meet the CRS score criteria, you won't know what draws/categories would even exist by then beyond french/healthcare. It is all upto how many more options you can have as opposed to betting it all on one. People who had competitive CRS scores never got their ITA in 2020/2021 simply because draws were paused as outlanders - things can happen, expect them to happen and expand your options. Learn french if you can.
