No issue if you didn't sign anything, it's not that easy and quick to be withdrawn.

Just send a followup that you changed your mind. And be honest with a decision maker, explain your situation, don't tell that it was accidental you are ruining your credibility.

Thank you for your reply. This is a bit reassuring I sent this on the web form:
“I accidentally submitted a withdrawal request for my spousal sponsorship application (Application No. F001482061) on December 23, 2025. The withdrawal was not intended. I called IRCC to report this error, and I am requesting that the withdrawal be cancelled and the application continue processing.”

Do you think this is okay? I have already called the agent and he said that he’s gonna put a note to continue the process for the officer to see.
You have done all you can. How can you accidentally submit a sponsorship withdrawal? You have to fill out the information and press submit...that is not an accident.

True. I emotionally distressed when I did it but I regretted my actions

Would expect you may now need an interview or more vetting. If you were pushed to withdraw the sponsorship once you need to think very hard about whether your relationship is in the right state to take on the responsibility and consequences of sponsoring. We see many examples on the forum where relationship warning signs were ignored during sponsorship. Many choose to ignore the issues thinking it will get better after partner gets PR. It typically doesn’t. After sponsorship it is very difficult to lose PR.

Exactly. That's why it's much better to explain everything upfront and not to use all these childish excuses that it was accidental. Decision makers see such cases everyday and it triggers questions. If you don't explain it properly, you will be scrutinized most likely.

OP has gone through and wiped all their posts.

Clearly seized with an adult-style acceptance of responsibility, all of a sudden.
