my minor child and I submitted our canadian citizenship applications on july. we received the AOR on 08/25, and on 08/28 my child’s background check was already marked as completed. however, my own background check is still in progress until now.
and I received the test invitation on 11/25 but haven’t taken the test yet.
could you tell me what’s going on in this situation? has anyone had a similar experience? why was my child’s background check completed just three days after receiving the AOR, while mine is still pending? I’ve noticed that most people in this group who applied in July have already had their background checks completed.

Need an insight from members please.
Received an email from routine processing requesting for travel history from US. But in the document under other section they stated the links to CBSA travel history sites to request from Canadian side too. On the page it says do not request for citizenship application, as ircc automatically pulls them while processing.
I'm wondering if that's a standard template they senr out or do I need to request from Canadian side too.
