Hii.. i applied for visitor visa before my work permit expired until now i haven’t get any decision. Now, me and my bf (He is Permanent Resident)have become common law complete more than 12 months of staying together. So my question is am i eligible to apply it right now as my visitor application is under process or a person can’t apply second file until a decision is done on first one. And what if my visitor didn’t get approved and i already file second file so wil it affect me.

One more question I don’t have lease for 3 months in between when we stayed for 12 months so can i give any affidavit from the person whose name is on lease and we were living in their house .. i have lease agreement for rest of months, courier delivered to same address, recently opened joint bank account but have shared interac transaction proof more than a year, photos calls chats will it be enough. And when can i apply for work permit. Hope you will help me with your knowledge

So you applied for a visitor record, not visitor visa. You can apply if you can prove common law for one year of continiously living together - bank statements, utilities, lease must all show at least one year. You apply for work permit once you have AOR.

The Inland application waives the requirement for the applicant to have legal status in Canada. If you have solid evidence of meeting the requirement to apply for spousal sponsorship (as suggested by @Naturgrl), you should submit ASAP.

You need multiple pieces of cohabitation evidence that date back at least one year. What do you have that dates back a full year? Photos, calls and chats aren't cohabitation proof. Do you have any bank accounts dating back at least a year that show the joint address? What about utility bills dating back a full year?

Yes i have lease with both of our names, utilities bill on his name same address but no utility was on my name, i have proof like around 3 months i paid rent and then he started to pay. Around last 6 months have pay stubs with same address before that i didn’t update the pay stubs we have different address and same with our bank accounts and cra accounts.
