Hi! I need a transit visa for a two-hour layover. I see a question in the visa form that says, "Have you had a mental health condition causing you to be a threat to yourself or others, or to be hospitalized?". I was hospitalized due to a suicide attempt a long time ago and take psychiatric meds; however, right now I'm a perfectly stable and functional adult, and my treatment works extremely well. I know many people recommend not disclosing this type of information on visa applications and say that what they care about is your mental state right now. Still, it's a little scary that they might ban me from entering Canada in general for misrepresenting myself or something. What should I do? I really am in a good place mentally and don't want to risk rejection if I disclose I was very depressed as a teenager lmao
