Background check is not similar to everyone. All it is about where you are from and what you have done in your past.

I am August 17th applicants and still waiting too for BGC to be completed.
just an FYI, there are 3 stages in BGC:
Criminality (passed)
Info sharing (in progress)
Security (not started)

I have one question, i got my fd updated on sept 10- we will let you know whenever we make the final decision. Since thn i didn't get any update and today i signup for pr tracker.
There i can see my copr number and its expiry date , but i didn't get any update by email yet. Is this normal?

For me, it took about 3 days to receive after the document number was updated. Hopefully, you’ll get yours by next week.

Call and ask IRCC. In my case, the COPR number was shown on my tracker, and I was on the phone with IRCC for something else, and they mentioned that P1 had already been sent out. It turned out that, in my case, P1 had been issued for a while, but I had not received it.

If the IRCC representative confirms that no P1 has been sent yet, you will just need to wait a little longer.

October 12th - Received IMM5801, Pre-Arrival services letter
October 15th - AIP
Oct 18th- SA
Oct 23rd - applied for OWP
Feb 6th - OWP approved
23rd Feb - BIL
5th March - Biometrics given, showing as completed in GCKey.
23rd April - Medical Exam request letter received.
12th May - Medical given
22nd May - Medical marked as completed.
26 Sept - BGC marked as complete
26th Sept - P1
7th Oct - P2

Interestingly it still doesn't show my FD in GCKey. I don't suppose it matters now.

I've already submitted the P2 information, so we will see how long until I get my eCOPR.
