Hi everyone,

I’m currently working full-time in a financial contact centre, mainly dealing with credit card products. My job involves promoting and advising clients on credit cards, handling limit increases, balance transfers, and new applications, and meeting monthly sales targets.

My HR letter, however, is a bit vague — it mostly talks about assisting customers and doesn’t highlight the sales or promotional aspect of my role. I’m planning to include proof of my sales performance and metrics (like monthly scorecards or reports) to show that what I do is sales-focused.

My question:
Has anyone here applied for PR under NOC 63102 (Financial Sales Representative) while working as a credit card representative or in a financial call centre? Did IRCC accept it, and did you include any extra documents to support your duties?

I just want to make sure I classify my job correctly and provide enough evidence that it’s TEER 3, not just basic customer service.

Any advice or shared experiences would be really appreciated!

1- Read between the lines (HR letter) and list down typical activities that you are supposed to do on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
2- List down all activities that you actually do on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
3- Cross-check all of them with the IRCC NOC that you have selected, and if they are covering more than 60%, you are good.
4- Optional: try to take a letter of typical activities from your manager/supervisor as a supporting document and explain that the HR letter does not cover full scope and list duties matching NOC 63102.

Note: The IRCC NOC and NOC description will never match 100% to the work that you do. But try to provide documented details and as much evidence as you can to support the NOC you have selected.
