Hello,

I'm currently in the Express Entry pool under the Canadian Experience Class and have a question regarding impaired driving laws. I have a past DUI conviction from several years ago. Could this affect my eligibility for permanent residency or future travel to Canada?

I've read that even a single impaired driving offense can lead to inadmissibility under Canadian immigration law. What steps can I take to address this issue? Are there options like Criminal Rehabilitation or Temporary Resident Permits available for individuals in my situation?

Any guidance or experiences shared would be greatly appreciated.

You are PR, applying through SUV, working as a bartender through FSW and in retail too from past posts so why ask.

Not sure why anyone would hire a consultant that needs to get advice from a bunch of amateurs (no disrespect intended) on a forum. Whatever you charge, it's way too much.
