Hey guys, my tracker is showing "Background verification status has been updated to Completed" since Friday. Does this mean my security is done for real? I've been stuck there for ages

Current ss times is about 24 months. If you applied before July 2023, chances are you’ll get processed within a month or two.

I got my GCMS today, and it shows as follows.
CLEARANCE REQUEST(S):
RCMP/CSIS: Y
also, it says:
CLEARANCES
SECURITY
SECURITY:1
UCI#
NAMES
TYPE: SECURITY CLEARANCE

I submitted my application in late March 2025, and only the test was completed; everything else was in process.

Has anyone received a tracker update recently? I had one on September 1, just checking to see if it's specific to me or a general update for everyone.

I had not update on the tracker, But i recieved GCMS notes and the update date has changed to September 1, 2025

Yes , it’s seems Comprehensive Security check. And according to your GCMS notes it says the file has been sent for security clearance review.

I was under comprehensive security check for my study permit for 2 years until I withdrew my application and applied for PR. I applied for PR and now under comprehensive check again for 5 months. Should I expect another 2 years? Will whatever checking they did for 2 years during my study permit application count?
