POF: shd we mention stock portfolio linked to bank account

Hello everyone,



I have a small stock portfolio (juste around 2000-3000 CAD). I know that IRCC only accept accessible cash in the bank account, so I'm not going to use it as a part of POF.

But, this portfolio is directly linked to my bank account. meaning, if I sell any of it, the proceeds will be added to my account directly (and vice versa). Plus, there's a small quarterly fee deducted from my account as "holding fees" ... so, in order to avoid any confusion, do I need to make an explanation letter added to my POF to mention this portfolio ?

If you meet the PoF without the portfolio, what are you even worried about here?

there are some fees related to the portfolio, that are deducted periodically from the bank account ... I'm not sure if the agent examining my application will find it confusing and need clarification.

the fees are entitled "droits de garde" (in french) = custody fees ... not sure if they won't be mistaken for loan interest or sth else ... plus it's stated in IRCC website that one should be "honest, thorough.. in presenting information and so" , and I read somewhere that we're asked to declare all assets and revenue sources ..Etc .. I'm not sure if this include this small stock portfolio !!

I agree with you that it's rather a trivial matter ... but wanted to avoid any unnecessary mistakes. the process is stressful enough, I'd hate to discover later that I made a small error and stress over it !!
