Short course on closed work permit

I have a closed work permit in Canada, I would like to know if I can take a 3 days phone rapair certification that is listed on this website:

As my work permit states that I am not allowed to study in Canada.

What about a Pharmaceutical Laboratory Testing Certificate that will last 3-4 months?
