Hi everyone, how do I enter previous visa dates (US) correctly?

Would it be January 1 to January 31, and then the next visa from Feb 1 to Feb 10, or January 1 to Feb 1, and then Feb 1 to Feb 10?

I think I remember from my PR application that there shouldn’t be any gaps..

What visa type is this? If it's a tourist visa, you don't even need to put it in the citizenship application, especially since we're talking here about 40 days or so, regardless of how you split them up.
Also, the answer to your original question, if you still want to list your US visa, is : doesn't matter. IRCC doesn't really care, put them any way you want.

Thanks! I did a change of status from J1 to F1, and basically my J1 status ended but I was allowed to stay because I filed for a change if status before the J1 expired so the start date of the F1 might be off by a few days?

And the days I mentioned are just examples, I just need to know whether they should overlap or one ends on the 31st and the next one starts on the 1st.

Student visas are indeed needed, so disregard part of my above message
But same answer as above : it doesn't really matter for IRCC. Both "same day" and "successive days" are fine. Pick one, if the system allows it and doesn't throw you an error, stick to it, else go with the other.

Ok, that’s helpful, thank you. One last question:

I applied under Express Entry, CEC, and am wondering whether it asks you to provide foreign visa dates. I tried to find the answer online, but no luck.

I can only remember travel history and personal history (work, travel, addresses)but not exact visa dates. Is there anything else that I’m missing?

I don't know what you're looking for online. You can download the forms and the instruction guide and see whether it asks for these things. Try filling out the actual form, line by line.

If it doesn't ask for those - that's the answer.

(As far as I'm aware it does not)

I tried to find the instruction guide but no success (nothing comes up and I’ve tried several times). The only website I found was where I can login to see how many points I would get. Do you maybe have a link?

You're posting in the wrong part of the forum - look up, this is the citizenship forum.

Ignore my response above, I thought you were asking about citizenship.

If you applied/interested in express entry - the name fo the sub-forum is express entry. (Funny how that works)

I’m applying for citizenship now. I’m aware of the forum I’m in. I’m not 100% sure of my past US visa dates, which is why I asked whether this was asked during the EE process. If yes, I will need to add a letter saying that I’m not sure about the dates, but this is my best estimate. That’s all I want to know. I can’t find the EE forms online:

I still don't understand. What you need to do is check what is required in the citizenship forms. If they don't ask for your US visa dates (I'm not clear what you mean here either - do you mean the dates of validity of your US visas), you don't need them.

And again - as far as I'm aware, they don't specifically ask about other visas you've held.
