The link you just share was from 2022. CIC also make changes on their site. And I was given that information the same day we received an email regarding my mom and brother's medical request. I never have problem with CIC as they provide accurate information for my application.

You literally just attached a copy of the email you received with incorrect information. It should say July 2022 not July 2023 on the chart.

Ircc said cannot apply for extension must leave. I m worried about current pgp application.

He can’t apply to extend his supervisa unless outside of Canada. He can attempt to extend his stay as a visitor. These are 2 different things. As long as he retains status his PGP is fine. As a visitor he should have a home to return to if the visitor record extension is denied or PGP is refused.

Your father got a stamp in his passport so entirely different situation. To try to extend his visit he must apply for a visitor record extension before the stamp date.
Exactly what I told @chahalsatinder.. Apply for a Visitor Record for his father esp. if the PGP application is on going. @chahalsatinder If you are that worried, go to their webform and ask them. Provide you dad's application number when you applied him for Supervisa and UCI so that they can look into it. Calling them will not be sufficient as they are just agent but unable to see your application. Through webform, they can forward the inquiry to the officer that is looking after your application. Also, mention your application number for PGP. If it's only your dad you are sponsoring, yours will be quicker than mine. Mine, took 3yrs for PGP application before they requested the medical.

I am applying at least 30days for Visitor Record before the expiry of his Supervisa if no PR approval in October yet.

I'll say I will go on CIC side rather than the information you are providing as they are the one granting the application. There is nothing you can do if they say July 2023 and not July 2022. They always change their rules. And that is one thing we have to follow. They seems accurate to me all the time.

They are literally contradicting their own information. I would reply and point out their error.

There is no need to apply for a visitor record now they have a 5 year visit. They can apply right before the 5 year period ends as long as they have been able and purchased supervisa insurance annually.

You are sending an old information from a site that was modified June 2022. Their site always modified and they always update it when there is a changes. It is clearly on their site right now. Nothing wrong to update your knowledge and learn from others that went through to this kind of situation. And no, if you want you can contact them and point out their error if you want if you think you are right. But I doubt it.

All he/she needs is to go to webform and answer will be there not just you telling her what to do. Clearly, you are not updated. Also, insurance can also purchase per month. This has changed long time ago. Not sure when applying outside but as for my dad, we were told we can purchase monthly. You can also try AI maybe it will help you.

No you can’t purchase supervisa insurance per month. You can purchase 1 year of supervisa insurance but pay monthly.

Plenty of proof that the announcement was made in 2022 and no proof other than the chart you were sent that it happened in 2023. Google supervisa length change in 2023 and nothing will come up.

I agree that change was made in July 2022. And I did check after my father arrival it was shown on cic that if landed after july 2022 can stay for 5 years. After seeing that I relaxed and never checked website again until this week where they changed if landed before 2023 can stay for 2 years. I tried slot to find if anyone have screenshot of that information that lead me to belive they can stay for 5 years. When calling ircc they just tell what already mention previously.
No idea how to justify the stay and save my pgp application
