Visitor visa application with existing working visa

Hi! I currently have an approved working visa but unfortunately I wont push through with the job.

I am currently planning to visit my partner next year. I am wondering if there would be a conflict if I will apply for a tourist visa even if I already have an approved and stamped working visa on my passport.

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!

Could be a problem because your previous attempt to move to Canada and the fact that you are trying to visit a partner. Nobody can determine whether you will be approved or not. Do you have a valid TRV already and when does it expire?
