Hi there,

I received my in-person oath invitation yesterday. I found somewhere online that you need to confirm your attendance, but nowhere on the invitation it says that I need to confirm anything, just where and when to show up. Is there still a requirement to confirm the attendance somehow?

"Somewhere online" = bullshit. Go by instructions.

Can someone who had the ceremony in-person share their experience? Did you have to confirm your attendance?

Again, if there is no confirmation needed on the email you got, you don't need to confirm anything.
What you saw on the internet could be outdated, or simply a different IRCC office handling things a little bit differently in another city or for a specific ceremony. In all cases, all you need to know is in the email you got, everything else is noise and self-induced stress.
