Hi everyone! I’m currently applying for the PGP 2025 for my parents, and I have my father’s passport ready, but my mother is still waiting for hers. The checklist requires photocopies of both passports, and I’m unsure if I can submit the application with just my father’s passport and add my mother’s later. Has anyone else faced this issue while applying for their parents? How did you handle it, and what advice would you give? Thanks so much for your help!

The portal will let you submit the application even if you only attach just your dad's passport but your application will be missing documents as per the checklist and my guess is that it could be returned back to you as incomplete. I personally would just wait for your mom's passport to arrive and scan and submit it at the same time and not risk having your application returned and the Oct 9th deadline passing for you to make any corrections and re-submit.

How do I download the form that I filled? is it after submitting?

If you want to download all the forms and files you have filled out for your records, you can do so after submitting your application. The portal will give you the option to download all forms in one Zip file.

i got the invitation too and i have a quick question: what information we gave in our interest form? I know that we have a explain if any information has changed since but it's been 5 years so i'm not sure. I had another child since 2020, do i have to explain it? or will it be asked later?

I wrote in a letter of explanation that I don't remember what I submitted so I'm submitting my old passport (which I think what was used), current passport and citizenship certificate and card so they have everything.
If you have an additional child, you will add that child to your family size when completing 5768

We need to consider total 5 members income: 3(Myself, husband and kid)+ 2(parents).
Question I have is that we had $3500 less total income than their requirements. Their requirements is $72935 but due to wife materninty, we had total $69,435.
Rest years of 2023 and 2024, we had excellent and more than their income criteria.
Anyone had same situation or faced similar?
We should apply or not?

It is mandatory to meet LICO for all 3 years. So expect refusal. People are refused by being short by a couple hundred of dollars.

What do you mean "fast example". It clearly states that you must meet LICO or refused. Search the forum for the many cases of refused PGP applications for not meeting LICO sometimes by a $100.

after submitting an application, what is next? How long does it take to be able to link it to tracker? I assume after AOR which may takes months?

Hi All, should my mom submit her PGP 2025 ASAP using my passport as status document or wait for my citizenship certificate. I applied for my citizenship certificate.

hello all, I have got two emails from IRCC for sponsoring my parent under PGP2025 in span of 20 days. Is this normal? The reason I ask is because I had submitted the application in between these 20 days following the process laid out by IRCC

The second email could be a reminder email. I got it too, when you open the attached PDFit shows reminder,

In the sponsor form imm1344e.pdf as per the guide ....."...In this section, the sponsor must sign and date the application form with an electronic signature or it will be returned...". But on the form it says "I agree that by typing my name, I am electronically signing my application"

So we should just type the name or actually put a digital signature? Quite confusing.
