June 2025 - Outland Spousal Sponsorship

I would appreciate some guidance regarding my spousal application. I received the Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) on July 29 and have submitted my biometrics, but I still haven’t received the Medical Instruction Letter (MIL). I’ve seen many applicants receiving the MIL either with the BIL or just a few days later. Is it common to experience a delay in receiving the MIL?

Any insights on this would mean a lot to me. Thank you!

A delayed mil can be normal depending on principal applicant's origin! Some mil seem to be delayed and are sent out after it moves to a local vo.

Hey guys. I was wondering if the spousal sponsorship application is made with the sponsor's existing PR portal or new account created by PA?

Are you discussing how to link a spousal application that has already been submitted? Or about where to apply from?

Neither. After getting my eCOPR, I wanna submit a sponsorship application for my spouse and kid. Would that be a separate account created in PR portal?
