We had another one done in December/January, which was unusual as we had our last one done which still had time to expire but I believe they wanted to finalize our application that's why we got another one
One more clarification, by what date you have to land in Canada, have they given a date

hey congrats for the good new. i am also in the priority stream, and applied in april 2024, they asked for updated resume, shedule A etc in nov 2024, and then for medical in jan 2024, i called ircc yesterday and found all my medical and background check have clared and they still say eligibility is under processing. i know the timeline and stuff for these but under priority do you think i will get a response in the next 4-6 months or am i too optimistic or delusional??
Hey, thanks for sharing your timeline. Are you applying inland or outland, and how many people are in your project? Also curious if your project is already generating revenue.

What do you guys think about this H1 2025 report from IRCC https://www.ircc.canada.ca/opendata-donneesouvertes/data/EN_ODP-PR-ProvImmCat.xlsx

The data doesn't match what was previously shared in https://meurrensonimmigration.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/SUV-Stats.pdf

The new report states that in the first 6 months of 2025, they approved:
- 635 self-employed applications
- 1180 startup visa applications.

Based on this data, the 2025 quota was 91% filled a month ago, with most of these PRs issued in Q1.

However, the number of approved PRs for 2023 in this report doesn't match previous reports.

If this is genuine, than matter of concern for 2021 paper application with no priority DOs.

Don't understand what do you mean , please clarify more
"Based on this data, the 2025 quota was 91% filled a month ago, with most of these PRs issued in Q1."
And Non - Priority designated Organization application will be processed only after Priority DO’s as per instructions from Ministerial.

Okay, I figured it out. The H1 2025 report from IRCC is about admissions, not approvals. These are the numbers of people approved in 2024 who landed in 2025. So, I guess the annual quota still hasn't been met.

Hi all SUV friends,
After reading the above comments from @Mr.N, I am confused what the correct quota for the SUV of 2025 is ??
1) Some posted information saying that: 3000 for the SUV & Self-Employed Persons Program in which SUV may be 2000 vs the remaining 1000 for Self-Employed.
2) Some the other posted information stated that: There is no specific quota for the Canadian Self-Employed Persons Program for 2025, as the program has been paused
My question is: What is the correct quota for our SUV this year of 2025? and this Number of PRs will be counted by Team or by PA (Principle Application) or by all the members of the team including the dependents ?

Looking forward to receiving the advice from SUV experts from our forum.
Thanks & Good luck to all of us!

Hi Hali

The self employed persons program is paused somewhere in 2024 I think till 2027, hence no self employed in 2025, what we are seeing are those from 2024 approvals who are landing in 2025

Second the quota for Fedral Business in 2025 is 2000, SUV is Fedral business, so all 2000 are for SUV, Quebec has their own business stream which is independent of SUV

Third, this 2000 as far as I know are Principal Applicants only, family is not counted in this

Good luck to all

Wish me good luck too

Thanks mate!
FYI: I haven't got the GCMS yet.
Hopefully in the next couple of weeks
By the way : Second the quota for Fedral Business in 2024 is 2000 => 2025 instead of 2024 ?
=> Third, this 2000 as far as I know are Principal Applicants only, family is not counted in this => this means around 500-700 Team/project ?
Cheers
Hali
