I am requested to provide an explanation to my POF within 10 days and this is not enough time for me.
Can withdrawing or cancelling the application prevent a negative decision from the IRCC officer (5 years band)?.
By the letter implication, a decision will be taken if I do not provide the needed explanation in 10 days.
What should I urgently do to prevent a band?

If you already received a PFL it is too late to withdraw without any consequences.

Thank you canuck78 for your sincere response, this has also enabled me to make research on the subject matter, I have contacted my bank for another proof to send along with my response but what I need assistance with at the moment is the tone and the context of the response letter. If you or anybody can please help, don't hesitate to drop it here for me to use as a template to build on.
