PGP 2025 sponsor moving from Quebec to Ontario after IRCC approval

Received PGP ITA 2025. If I move from Quebec to Ontario after receiving IRCC approval but before applying for CSQ (program is currently closed ), does this eliminate the need for the CSQ? After I notify IRCC of my move, will they continue processing as an Ontario resident?

You would need to move now and cut ties with Quebec. You should also have no plan to return as soon as parents get PR because they won’t have CSQ and that could also be considered misrepresentation.

So if I move and cut ties after I submit the application, we still have to get the CSQ ?

Not if you relocate out of Quebec. Once you move update your address and would include proof of employment outside of Quebec and proof of any other ties. IRCC will be looking for people trying to say they moved out of Quebec permanently but who have not. On the same note Quebec will be looking for applicants who try to move back as soon as they get PR.
