We got positive decision April 2024 for whole family , same nationality all family , by June 2024 minister appeal kids decision , we applied PR for all family together, appeal allowed in December 2024 , RAD send back case to RPD for redetermination , till today no update from RPD , any advise or comment guys

How old are the children? Do they have a different citizenship as you do? Wondering if this a precedent issue.

We are all holding travel documents for refugees from Lebanon, we used to lived in UAE , the member in RPD considered Lebanon our CFHR while minister appeal that UAE only must be assessed as country of formal habitat residence for kids as they borned there , but we used to lived in UAE in temporary visa only

A bit insane that you all got TRVs with so many red flags of a likely asylum claim. Must of been in the era of minimal vetting by IRCC. Honestly can’t understand why Minister is pursuing this and seems like a waste of resources. The children will be included as dependents on your PR application whether they are determined to be protected people or not.
