convert visitor's record to work permit after provincial nomination

I have been on the visitor's record since February 2025, and it will expire on Nov 30, 2025. I just received provincial nomination from Ontario today, August 21, 2025. What do I need to do to get a work permit? I have an employment letter. How long does it take to process? . Can my spouse get an open work permit too? I really need guidance. Thank you

You are posting under Express Entry and OINP EE is not a job offer stream. If not EE then ask further questions under provincial nomination section. There are various threads on the different streams.

Don't know what stream but go on the OINP site for that stream and read - if you are nominated under the stream. You will need a work permit support letter from the province too. So you need that before applying for work permit.

Spouse gets a permit if your NOC is TEER 0-1 or on the eligible list.

Thank you for your response. Yes a provincial support work permit was given. The stream is onip -Iss ( student stream). The teer is teer 3. Does it mean the spouse can't apply for open work permit

If your NOC is eligible. Only select TEER 3 NOCs are eligible for SOWP.
