Hello, I have a question about virtual landing.
So, the latest update on my GC key says, "final decision". Its showing this since 7 March 2025. I put up an inquiry in May the agent on call said. "Your PR was approved, and you are in que for virtual landing". What does that mean?
I have not received any update or portal or email or anything since 7 March 2025. Can anyone please explain what is happening and what can I do about it? This wait is crazy, is there any timeframe or what?
I can also see the COPR number in tracker, its expiry date is 27 August 2025!!!

Hey I am in the same boat. MP hasn’t responded but the agent on the call said that someone needs to trigger the virtual landing process. Also I can see FD and CORP info in tracker since May. Waiting for a long time

I did MP inquiry 3 times since March; they had a call with IRCC agents and said they sent a message to the officer but still no update.

Hi everyone,

On my IRCC tracker, both Eligibility and Background are now showing as Completed, and I also see a new medical expiry date. However, there are no updates showing on GCKey yet.

Does anyone know what usually happens next in this stage? When does GCKey get updated after the tracker shows completion? Should I be expecting the Final Decision or portal email soon?

Any insights from recent experiences would be appreciated!

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone else is in the same situation or can offer some advice.

In my GCKey account, the last update I received was:


However, background check and eligibility still show as “in progress” in the GCKey portal.

When I check the PR Tracker, it shows that all stages are completed — medical, biometrics, eligibility, and background.
It even shows COPR document details, including the document number and expiry date.

I called IRCC twice to follow up. I asked if they had sent me any email or portal instructions, but they said nothing has been sent yet and just told me to keep waiting.

It’s been over 3 months since the last update, and I haven’t received anything further.
My AOR is December 17, 2024 (CEC stream).

Is anyone else in the same situation — with COPR showing in the tracker but no portal email yet?
Would really appreciate any guidance or shared experiences.

Hi, Yea l got he eCORPR on August 20 2025.
Now l am waiting for the PR card
