I'm actually not familiar with the ATIP reports for border crossings (want to order one soon) and what info they disclose.
Again in theory, if you have that entry record and it doesn't identify you as a foreign national (PRs are not considered foreign nationals), then to me that is rather a rock-solid argument that you are a PR/were a PR at time of entry.
[Hypothetically a PR could be 'reported' at the time of entry as not compliant and subject to potential renunciation - but that is not something automatic and contingent upon the PR's ability to appeal (and hence likely delayed for some period of time, months at least). And that PR would retain the right to work until the case gets to its final disposition.]
Sadly, you will still face the issue that you'd have to convince an employer of this logic, and they may not want to deal with such things.
I posted my entry experience on a separate post. I wasn't issued A44 reports nor asked to waive my PR status. CBSA officer simply asked me to contact IRCC and book an appointment. They will decide if my status is still valid. It has been one and a half month, and I haven't received any mail or phone call. Not sure if I have been reported yet. If I haven't received anything over half a year since my entry, I would assume CBSA didn't report me.
Yes, I was referring to case of what might be on ATIP is someone is reported - and even in those cases, if the ATIP said anything, in most cases the person in question would still be presumed to be a PR (and hence right to work).
At least you have a SIN. Those who don't have SINs have to jump over still more hoops.

Just because someone else was able to enter around a year ago doesn’t mean that you’ll be able to. Immigration priorities have changed in Canada and there is a lot of luck involved.
