We are looking into immigration into BC to the Southern Okanagan. One of us is a teacher with a PhD degree, the other a family doctor. We are mostly trained in Europe, with experience in New Zealand. Is there anyone that could give an indication of our chances? Unfortunately we cannot do the return of service in another region than the southern interior.
Thanks in advance

What exactly do you mean by mostly trained in Europe. Details matter a lot when it comes to this. In terms of teaching what is the person teaching and at what level? If university instructor much harder than a high school French teacher for example. How old are you both?

For the family doctor, check the PRA-BC Program. They will complete everything for you

If went to school and trained in Europe this may not be needed which is why what European country makes a big difference. Also age can have an impact on who gets selected for practice ready spots since they are not unlimited. Much more likely to get selected at 30 than 40+ because of potential years of practice.
