Any updates November 2024 applicants? Mine is only done with eligibility and biometrics. Background check still in progress since last December and I have not received any medical call yet

October 2024 applicant here and no medical request yet.
Processing time now increased to 36 months. I think we are going to wait another 2 years or something lol

Isn't the 36-month estimate for new applicants? The posted timeline did jump (28 → 36), but in this thread a lot of 2024 files have still moved in roughly the 10-14 month range.
If the AOR is Nov 2024, I wouldn’t stress yet, personally I’d only start following up if there’s still no movement by Nov 2025. Hopefully there’s an update well before then
I confirmed this with IRCC, they said processing time is not locked at the time when you initially submitted your application. In other words, November 2024 applications are still susceptible to the new processing time, i.e., 36 months at the moment. If in the next few months, the processing time increased further, let’s say 50 months, then it’s a 50 months wait time.
And yea, I agree that doesn’t make any sense, but .. it is what it is
Thanks for checking with IRCC and sharing that! Yeah, I’ve noticed July and August 2024 applicants are already getting their eCOPRs now, so I guess only time will tell how consistent the timelines are. Hoping they keep moving at this pace. I'm a February applicant so got a long time to wait
Non of August applications received P1 yet, let alone ecorp. July is getting P1 P2 and corp. Probably aug and SEP they'll finish July batch
Interesting. I know some cases are rare approved in 5 months or so but what do you think BGC complete/final decision/P1/P2 will come for Feb 2025 applicants? IIRC processing time was around 24-28 months when I applied
But I think that number is ridiculous and have not realistically seen cases taking over a year/a year and a half
Maybe you haven't seen enough. In 2024 yes it was about 6 months to process a case. It's getting longer and longer. Even now there a small percentage of cases pending since 2023. A bigger % of case May June 2024 waiting for P1, not even ecorp. Many July 2024 waiting for P1, so until they get ecorp it will be 15 months at least. It just gets slower overtime.
