In Canada Study Permit Extension (Change DLI)- Undergraduate to Master Program

Hello,
I have submitted for my study permit extension application on June 10, 2025. However, it is still in progress and the review of eligibility has been starting yet(based on using the phone to check my application status). As a side note, it took me to wait for one year for my last study permit in my last semester of my undergraduate program. Additionally, I will start my master program in September. I would like to know if anyone else has been waiting for a long time for study permit extension as well? What is your timeline for the study permit extension documents? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Don't think you can start your program without approval. Depending on how IRCC sees it then it could take weeks or months for response.
