Hi, My wife is the primary applicant with a B.Pharm degree, 1 year pharmacist experience, and Master’s equivalency (per ECA). I have 3 years of web design experience. We also have a brother who is a PR in Ontario. A consultancy told us our chances are good, but online forums say it’s unlikely. Looking for an honest, unbiased opinion from experienced. Thank you

For OINP Human Capital Stream - low. ONP draws are focusing on job offers but check past draws for that NOC on the OINP site. Having a brother in Ontario makes no difference for OINP. There are no family points for OINP.

She needs to increase her score by at least 50 points. Max English scores. Why is her score so low?

Wouldn’t be equivalent to a professional degree? In most of the world program starts after high school/secondary school is typical. Not even a PharmD. Agree that score is too low. She needs another degree or at least a few years of Canadian work experience. Learning French also a good option to increase her score and will open up the job markets which is actually better in Quebec or francophone communities than many parts of Canada if she does get to Canada.
