Hello everyone,
So, here's my case, I did an upfront medical examination before submitting my PR but my physician submitted it as "worker" since I had not received my medical examination request at the time.
After submitting my application, I received a medical examination request, called the physician to book a new appointment, but they told me that they cannot submit a new result to the system as mine is less than 2 months old and it would be blocked.
When I submitted my application, I included a placeholder for examination rather than the form I received from the doctor.

My question is, is there a way to link my existing examination to the PR application, and if so, how?

Thanks so much

You should have submitted it initially. And your "worker" upfront medical examination should be fine. Submit it via a web form. And your physician should be able to submit using your medical examination request.

But anyways the webform submission will suffice.

Thank you for the help, if you don't mind me asking, could you please elaborate on what my physician can do? Can they link my existing examination to the new requested examination?
Also, any idea how I can tell which office is processing my application?

Again, thanks for your assistance :)

You need to use a standard webform https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/web-form.html

And attach a letter of explanation and your medical request letter.

And do it ASAP as it usually takes up to 2 weeks to be processed.

Your physician should know how to deal with it, if he or she doesn't know or want to do anything, just shake it off. A webform submission will be enough.

It won't help you in any way to know which office is processing your application. IRCC call agent can tell you that information and ATIP notes.

I'm asking about the office because there is an input in the form asking where my application is being processed (I'm based In Amman, Jordan but I don't know if that's what I should select)

As for the physician, she's generally helpful, if I give her clear instructions on how to handle it she should be able to do it, any idea where I can find instructions to share with her?

Thanks

You cannot give any instructions to your physician, it's a waste of time . Just submit your upfront medicals via webform.

It doesn't really matter which option you choose on where my application is being processed. Reply to the best of your knowledge. Or try getting that information from calling IRCC by phone: when calling from within Canada, the number is 1-888-242-2100. When calling from outside Canada, the number is 1-613-944-4000. But again it would be a waste of time.

You don't need to lose your time, you have only 1 month to comply and 2 weeks would only be used to process your webform submission.

I see, if it's all the same I will just submit my examination results via the web form and worry about knowing what office is processing later.
Thanks so much for your insight
