Refusal on visitors visa applied in May 17, 2025

The officer refused with reason as visit poorly documented with no proof of round trip ticket. My question is how do you prove round trip when not issued with visa. Same people tell us to hold on with travel plans unless you secure the visa first

Why are you wanting to visit Canada? Your itinerary and statement of purpose should have a clear outline of what you plan to do and what will be the cost. You can include a dummy ticket.

If that was the only reason and not coming to Canada temporarily or no reason to come to Canada then get a refundable ticket.

Applicant is coming to spend 2 weeks so temporarily. But main reason the officer gave was interinary poorly documented as no interinary details ( proof of round trip airfare).

So no plan on what person will do in Canada. Have an itinerary with return tickets.

Does it specify proof of round trip airfare? That is very strange because IRCC strongly discourages purchase of airfare when applying. Proof of itinerary and proposed flight plans are usually sufficient.
