Congratulations! When people in this forum talk about the letter that will have the details on the oath ceremony - is it a physical letter in that comes in the post, or an email ?

Hey folks, im getting real nervous; citizenship test completed May 30, but everything is in progress and nothing completed aside from the citizenship test. What should I do?

I got GU today.Lets see.I am also having the same BG and Test completed already.Fingers crossed

BG completed July 7th for myself and my spouse

GU July 17th for both accounts and nothing since then

not here. I hope we don't have a mad dash to get a passport for end of December, thought we had bags of time.

Spoke with an IRCC Agent today regarding my application and it’s still in process as BG is not fully completed yet. And the main office in charge my application is Vancouver. I’m just going to sit back and wait as Vancouver office is known for taking their time I might call for another update in another 2-3 months.

I spoke with IRCC today and found out my BG is still in process and is handled by the Vancouver office- so now I at least know the reason it is taking so long and will wait for a few more weeks before calling again.

I have a work trip planned for end of September and i thought I had enough time for that when i applied for citizenship back in march. Now i am only hoping i dont get the oath just before that time else i will have a huge logistical nightmare

I'm in the same boat. I've decided to reschedule the oath if it conflicts with my trip out of Canada. Unfortunately, I can't move or cancel the trip since it's a family event.

I can only hope that it works in my favour at this point but not worried at all.

That would be my last resort but I dont want to delay that. There are instances where people got their oath pushed back by months!

I am on the same boat. Talked to a nice agent two days ago and she mentioned exactly same statement! Vancouver office and criminality done waiting for security! I'd be grateful if you could keep me posted when you get yours!

For me, I am still yet to get my test completion confirmation since I took the test in June 15th. My processing office is also Vancouver. Seems they are known to notoriously delay processing. My friend which we submitted same time in March did her oath ceremony in July and I am just with Background complete since May 30th. Every other is still in progress - including citizenship test which I completed since June.
