I just wanted to ask if anyone has experience with this:

My lawyer submitted my case status request to the Refugee Board about a month ago but we haven’t received any response yet.
Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get a reply?

When did you claim asylum? Have you had your hearing?

only time can tell. everyone's timeline is different. there are refugee claimant who are waiting hearing date for years, some are waiting for the NOD for months and some case finalized and received NOD within a year from the date they claim asylum.
so yeah have some patients and keep praying. good luck!

Months is pretty rare these days. Even expedited processing is much longer than it used to be. I do agree there is a huge range of wait times until a hearing. Could be a year but could take 3 years these days.
