If you got invited early, you should submit early, so you can get PPR earlier as well.

I submitted my case late last year, but the overall time is acceptable - 1 year and 19 days to get PPR since the date submitted. (You can see my timeline in the signature)

Is that how long it typically takes for most folks based on your epxiernece on this forum?

I have seen many like this, but there are always outliers. For most cases, the earlier you submit, the earlier you get PPR.

I submitted late last year though

FYI, I notice on IRCC website that the confirmation lookup will be available on August 7, so I’m guessing invitations will end August 6th.

4 days left then?

Congratulations! Which province are you from and what time did you get it today? Thanks!
Thank you! I'm in BC and I got the invitation at 6:51 am on July 29.

And you still received extremely fast processing for PGP.
Not at all — people who submitted in May and June last year received their PPR faster than I did.

I consider myself lucky and feel truly grateful. Both my own PR and citizenship were processed in under four months, and now my parents' PR took just one year.

When I applied in 2020, I had the issue of Indian Passport, of not having Last Names. Is it possible that people who didn't have Last Names are not getting picked? Am I that unlucky that every friend of mine received it, except me.
