I've got a feeling my Oath is in person - it's scheduled for August 18th which is a month from today while a lot of folks are getting mid-late July as their ceremonies (virtual).

Where are you ? I think your hunch may be correct particularly if in a location that doesn't have a lot of in-person ceremonies.

A good example. They only list (commonly) four municipalities in Ontario for in-person, two in GTA, Ottawa, and Kitchener.

Kitchener does typically have them on mondays, so that would make sense. But I don't know if they invite people from Guelph to Kitchener ceremonies - easy enough by car, a challenge by public transport.

It's not excluded that they have in other localities from time to time - it's a bit surprising to me they don't have somewhere covering further in south-western ontario (eg London, Windsor, Sarnia) or somewhere further north. But I don't know about their practices for that. At any rate, if they were to hold ad hoc ones to fill gaps, Guelph would probably not be a priority. (Although maybe special occasions....)

I noticed on fb people talking about criminality and security for bg check. I didn't get fp and my bf is still in progress. Does that mean I am stuck in security? People were talking about third party. I am so confused and anxious at this point... Aor April 8. Only test completed so far.

I am only going by what is on the IRCC website for locations. And unfortunately, I've no idea what the practice was pre-covid.

Usually bg and test turns green first but not unusual depends on your AOR too. When did you submit?

You can call IRCC or get GCMS notes to find out.

AOR April 4 – no updates yet. Called IRCC today: criminality passed, security and background check ongoing. No test invite yet, just have to wait.

I got BG check completed on June 4th. Nothing since then, not even test invite. What about you?

No, I mean, did you have any ghost update between April 4th and June 4th on the tracker? My test got completed and security is still in progress.

Yes I had one GU. Don’t remember the exact date.
