Hi guys I submitted my Fingerprints on June 11th, IRCC confirmed receipt on July 12th. However my background check still hasn't been cleared - agent mentions that background clearance is still pending, so likely the security part. Does anyone know how long this usually takes? Thanks

how did you get IRCC confirmation on receipt of finger prints? asking because I want to confirm for mine too, I do not see that on tracker anywhere

Yes from brampton.

It seems like the new trend in IRCC, you get FP request, you send the FP and then you get Language and presence completed. And you get stuck with background check and prohibition

Mine background check is completed only prohibition left

The change of her name should be supported with an affidavit signed by a Notary Public or Commissioner of Oaths stating which version of her name she needs to keep.

I’d guess the fingerprint documentation is in a pending tray awaiting action. My wife’s fps were received by them over a week ago and no update to anything yet.

Does anyone know what could it mean to get a ghost update 10 days after taking the test but nothing changed, test is still showing in progress, asking for a friend.

I applied for citizenship from Montreal, but my background check was done by the Vancouver office. Does that mean Montreal is my primary office and Vancouver is secondary? Which office is currently processing my application in this case?

It appears background check is primarily done by Vancouver office. To confirm your primary and secondary office for sure, you will have to call IRCC.

Got a GU today and my tracker shows updated July 16 but nothing has changed and Bg and LPP still in progress. Does this mean I might get another update soon?

Possibly your background is done. Could you keep us posted please if you get it tomorrow or this week?

Oh my god, I completed my citizenship test on May 30, and everything other than Citizenship test (completed) and Citizenship ceremony (not started) is in progress. am i going for a non-routine? April 14 AOR.

my wife has had no progress on anything since AOR 10 April other than getting a fingerprint request in early June. She's above the age of needing to do the test or language. We're hoping it all turns green soon.
