Hello. I have a valid visit visa for Canada. I want to apply for my wife and kids as well. Since I will be providing the funds, Can I apply on their behalf, or does it have to be done under my wife's name, with family members (our kids) added in the same application. My nephew is a Canadian citizen and since we will be staying with him, I am planning on getting an invitation letter from him. If the application is under my wife's name, will it be valid for my family, since I already have a visa, and he is not directly related to my wife?

PS. I can’t seem to find an option to apply for my family as someone with a valid visa.

Appreciate any guidance.

Your spouse is the main applicant along with your children under 22. Nephew can include letter of invitation. They show funds (your bank statements), travel history and strong ties to return since will have no family ties. Tie are her job with approved leave, her business, her income properties and kids school registration. Cash in the bank is around $10k per person is a good minimum amount.

Why didn’t you apply for their visa at the same time as you applied for yours ?

You gotta keep in mind , that sometimes the only reason you got your visa approved , is that your family is a tie to go back to

So your wife may get approved, your kids not
