It depends on the type of security check they requested—whether it's standard or comprehensive. They already did a comprehensive check when we applied for refugee status. For the PR process, it should be easier and faster because they already have all the information. I think they will look only for update.
Also, I’m wondering how you contacted your MP. Did you send an email, or did you have to go to their office? Could you please explain the process? I might contact my MP if I don’t get a decision this month.
