I can understand KAI may not work in all cases, I know if applicants are like you still waiting for KAI and few of them got it.

The issue with that assumption is that KAI triggers something - what some of us suspect is that the email is already on the way which coincided with the time when someone used KAI method. It usually doesn't, which is also why that method doesn't seem to work well.

I’m reaching out to see if anyone else is in the same situation or can offer some advice.

In my GCKey account, the last update I received was:

Final decision: February 18, 2025 – Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

However, background check and eligibility still show as “in progress” in the GCKey portal.

When I check the PR Tracker, it shows that all stages are completed — medical, biometrics, eligibility, and background.
It even shows COPR document details, including the document number and expiry date.

I called IRCC twice to follow up. I asked if they had sent me any email or portal instructions, but they said nothing has been sent yet and just told me to keep waiting.

It’s been over 3 months since the last update, and I haven’t received anything further.
My AOR is December 17, 2024 (CEC stream).

Is anyone else in the same situation — with COPR showing in the tracker but no portal email yet?
Would really appreciate any guidance or shared experiences.

You order GCMS notes right after KAI and you can see some details. If someone don't have all 4 statuses completed and raise a KAI, IRCC will respond in a week or two stating that "we have reviewed your application and it is still in progress" It means IRCC has responded to KAI. I have many such examples and this actually works. However, since April 2025 IRCC is very slow for PnP Non EE and hence we don't get timely response.

I am not sure if you have received portal email by now, I can see many cases like this where final decision has been made and it took 3/4 months to issue portal emails. This is completely unpredictable. If you want to try your luck you can use KAI method. Since you said all 4 statuses has been completed so it may work for you.

This is interesting, because I have been trying to figure out why my COPR details are showing in the case tracker when I have not received the COPR. I already got the portal email and uploaded my information and photo. That was back in February. Then I received the same portal email in June. I have no idea if I am supposed to do it again!! I am not in Canada so I would have to travel there to do the portal again. On top of this, my case does not show up in the portal when I log in. I was afraid I had somehow missed the COPR and my case had been removed. Now I am thinking the COPR details are not the final document details, but some other initial placeholder. I am so frustated at this process.

A few of you mentioned you were able to talk to an agent at IRCC--how did you do that?? Every time I have called there has been no option to talk to an agent. The responses to my webform requests have been very generic.
