good afternoon @Miss bee, I have a question about imm5562, I came Canada in 2021 until now, never leave, do I need to put this info. on imm5562? thank you.

Do you need to include your stay in Canada on IMM 5562 if you haven’t left since 2021
No, you do not need to list your time inside Canada on IMM 5562 if you haven’t traveled outside the country.
What does IMM 5562 ask for?
It specifically asks you to:
“List all the countries (including your country of citizenship) you have visited or lived in for more than 6 months, outside your country of citizenship or residence, in the past 10 years.”
So if you:
Came to Canada in 2021,
  • Have not left Canada since,
  • And Canada is now your current country of residence,
Then there’s nothing to list under your travels for this period — just leave it blank or write “No travel” or “Did not travel outside Canada”, if a response is required.

Hi, I have a question about police certificate @Miss bee . I have been asked to submit a police certificate from my country. I have one certificate but it is for 2018 when I was living there. After that, I have been in Canada and only visited my country for like one month or two (2022). It was also expired. In my ADR, it asks “Please provide an original and recent Police clearance Certificate from”, I was wondering if it is okay to submit what I have even it was expired? I cannot take right now as it takes at least 1.5 months. Thanks in advance.

Please I just got a message to sign my IMM 5562 - My travels.
When I first submitted, I didn't state that I had travel since it was 13 years ago. IRCC said 10years or since 18years of age.
Do I need to add the travel still, knowing we'll I didn't submit it the first time since its was a longer time than requested. Thank you
@Miss bee please kindly advise. Thank you

I completed the medical examination by Jun 10 (Dr. confirmed was submitted) however when I check in the status tracker there is no change in the updated date, is there any problem? or they are in slow motion?

Lmia-exempt closed work permit.
Hi @kirby97 , How long did it take you to get the final decision once you received the Correspondence letter (Biometrics letter)?
I applied closed work permit on Jan 19, 2025 and received the Biometrics letter last evening? I am really panicking if they reject my Work permit extension then how come they gonna process my Non express PR (Applied on Oct 18, 2024)

Next business day I received final decision.

Hey @Miss bee,

Hope you are doing well.
I have a concern regarding adding a newborn to an existing OINP non-express PR application. I am going to be a dad next month and want to know what the procedure and requirements are for adding a newborn to an existing OINP application applied on July 23rd, 2024, under OINP ISS.

So (big coincidence) I also applied on July 23rd 2023, had a baby in September, was expecting the birth certificate in November but because of the Canada Post strike I only got it until early January. I sent a copy of the birth certificate on a webform. Nothing else happened after that. I received FD/P1 last week. I mentioned again my newborn baby when I replied to P1 making note that I had sent a webform previously.

Hi @Miss bee How much time is required to finalize the eligibility? It has been in progress since I sent the ADR(Background form, Employment Record and Police clearance) in February 2025. I call the IRCC agent every month, and they consistently tell me that the eligibility is still in progress and that the security process has not started yet.

My PVO is Etobicoke. Or is there any way can send email to office directly?

Hello @Miss bee, this line seems contradictory to me - “List all the countries (including your country of citizenship) you have visited or lived in for more than 6 months, outside your country of citizenship or residence, in the past 10 years.” if they said outside your country of citizenship then it shouldn't include the time spent in your country of citizenship, right? Or do you mean if you visited your country of residence while you are resided elsewhere.

It took so long for you to get the final decision. Do you know if you were on a comprehensive security check?
