Did anyone who submitted on May 14th recieved BIL and MEL , PA (India) and Sponsor( PR residing in canada), just curious why Its taking too long.

Mine was submitted on May 14th, received biometrics and medicals on June 18 and 19 respectively.

Hi All,
I need urgent help.
My application has been returned today with the reason that
"Birth certificate of Primary Application is not provided"
I thought my wife's passport is sufficient as proof of birth certificate.
Now my concern is
As her birth was registered in the year 2008, the local municipality in India has provided the birth certificate on a template where the regular context was mentioned in both English and local language but my spouse's details are handwritten.
The ceritifcate has the local municipality's stamp, signature, provincial (state's) emblem.
My only worry is that the details of my spouse name, date of birth, parents names are hand written.
Please let me know if that is fine to submit to the IRCC.

I can give you a suggestion but cant say it is the solution. You can go to your local municipal office and ask if they can provide new birth certificate showing this doc, once you get new one, attach that new one along with SSC certificate. Or may be make this document translate to english and notarize this but add make sure to add SSC certificate. Birth certificate is mandatory for principal applicant.

Do you really think that I need to get it notarized because all the content is available in English.?

There is nothing to be nervous about. I also got AOR on email only. I got mel and bil request yesterday.
