Proof of Funds at port of entry

Hey!
IRCC says to bring some documents like LOA etc along with proof of funds when entering Canada for the CBSA officer to review. What kind of proof of funds are they referring to? Do they mean cash? My father is my sponsor, and I won’t have a Canadian bank account until I open one after arrival.

Congratulations! What POF documents did you use to be approved for study permit? Bring those documents.

My classes start in September so I still don’t know but not more than 4 weeks before my classes begin so 1 August and onward. Do I bring the same old bank statements I submitted or issue a new one?
