GCMS notes are the same from IRCC and CBSA. However, each agency makes different redactions. Most CBSA notes will not redact security screening details, and some other aspects of the notes.

Application Submitted: March 10th 2025

In tracker it says Biometric & Backgound In-progress since May
Spouse was a PR before we met and did soft landing in 2022 (came back to India in 15 days).
Married in Feb 2023 and we stayed in India till Sep2024.
He got a job and moved to Canada in Oct2024.
Didn't have NOA , so with T4 we submitted the application in March.
There is no progress for around 4 months now but have seen people who submitted around march already getting PPR.
My representative suggested to req GCMS notes only after 6 months.
Also planning to submit TRV in couple of weeks.
My question here is what would be the general reason for this delay as we didn't even get biometrics letter.
What are the changes of this delay affecting my TRV application?

There is no way to escalate. Delays with IRCC are common and as per IRCC's own statistics, 30% of all GCMS notes are delayed as per last year's data and before that, 50% were delayed.
Just wait.

Not sure what your question is. If you are concerned about the time, family sponsorships can take 10-12 months. Also, it will vary from application to application.
It's too early for you to worry.

In April, IRCC requested some additional documents which I submitted within the deadline through the GC key Portal (questionnaire page with placeholders). However, the status for ADR within the GC key has not been changed since submission (almost 2 months) and still shows the old message saying that we need additional documents to continue processing your application.
Today, i received the GCMS notes which does show that ADR was sent by IRCC in April, but does not show/log the receipt of the documents or my submission in May (it does for other previous ADRs). It also shows some subsequent activities logged for June by the officer but nothing on the receipt of the ADR that i submitted in May? and now i freaking out wondering if i submitted it on a correct platform or if submitted it correctly. Status is not changed in the GC key portal either. Seems like either they did not receive it or they did not review it. At least GCMS should have shown/acknowledged the receipt. What's your take on it? what should i do? have not received any update since April
