Hi can you please tell me the timeline
When did you send the passport and when have you received it
To anyone who is facing issues with their TRV application, I would suggest contacting their local Canadian MPs as they hold the right to expedite your visa application. Explain them your situation and make your email/message as compelling as possible. It worked twice in my case. I had applied for TRV when I was in Canada back on 22 March 2025, and I came to India in April without waiting for the TRV to get approved. It had been well over the mentioned timeline on IRCC website, and I didn't see anything happening. My return ticket is on 22 June, and i didn't receive any decision on my application until June 3. I didn't have enough money to buy a new ticket, so I tried contacting my local MP in canada and explained him the whole situation, they contacted the IRCC on my behalf and I got my TRV approved the same day and also got the PPR. I submitted my passport for stamping the very next day, but looking at the current visa stamping timeline, I was worried that I might not get my passport back before my flight, so I again contacted him and requested to expedite the visa stamping process on urgent basis. Luckily, I got the dispatch message just an hour ago. I would genuinely suggest anyone who is going through the same to contact their MP, raise IRCC web form, and email Delhi High Commission. Doing these three things will definitely help you get out of this sitatuation. Please do this only if you are really in need.

Hey, I received the dispatch message today, they started processing it on May 28.

Trv applied from inside canada
11 april
Correspondence letter received 05 may
Passport request- 04 june
Passport submission-06 june
Reached IRCC office new delhi - 10 June
After that complete silence

Received my passport dispatch message today. I had raised a webform to expedite the process, with my reasons. But I am not sure if that helped or it just happened to be around the usual timeline. Nevertheless, updating my status for others here on this chat.
Oh that’s faster than usual. Can you please lmk what you had written in your web form? I’m thinking of raising one myself.
