The interview went well. The visa officer said he was satisfied and believed that the relationship is genuine and that we should hear back soon about a passport request.

Good luck with your interview. Just be calm and truthful and as long as your relationship is genuine, you have nothing to worry about. They will have ask questions like how you met, who proposed to who, your everyday life, plans for the future.

Glad your interview went well! They still haven’t requested one for us. An update for our application is that as of September 9th, they started the eligibility. Ghost update on the 16th and silence since. I am expecting the MP to call at the end of this month.

Just hang in there. I know the waiting is the hardest part. Although you may not hear anything from them for a long while they are still working on your application. Eligibility and background check takes a long time and that won't change to complete until you get approved. The last time there was an update on our file was December 9th, then we waited 8 months for another update which was the interview request.
