Hi I am currently an international student and in my co-op term, and I started my full time job during my coop term as this is my last term.
I have a coop end date of August 15, and I am expected to get my expedited graduation letter by August 22.
In this case, should I stop working after August 15 or I can work until I get expedited graduation letter and then apply PGWP and again start working?
Also, I am already a full time employee for my employer, and if I stop working for few days, Is this counted as if I am not working?
Note: I have valid study and coop work permit until DEC 31, 2025.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you

If you have a co-op study permit you are only entitled to work full-time as a co-op student. Do you mean you are working full-time for your co-op placement?

Yes.. I am working full-time as a coop student but I will continue this job as full-time permanent position as they have offered the full time position.

Ok so you are correct that you must reduce your hours to 24 hours per week in the period between when your co-op position ends and when you receive your final transcript, proof of graduation, etc. There may be a period when you can’t work at all so would prepare your PGWP application so you can apply as soon as possible. If you are not working you can’t count time as working in Canada. You will have to discuss the various work hour limitations until you apply for PGWP with your employer. They may want to move your start date until after you apply for PGWP so they can hire you to work full-time and not have to take any time off.
