Hello Im in the same application class (outland within canada) for biometrics as biometrics were done during the first visa to get in canada was done and it only expires in 10 years to they still ask for new biometrics?

The principle applicant has to submit the new biometrics, the previous one doesn’t count towards PR application.

if you dont mind me asking, your SO is on WP in Canada & you applied for Outland? How? I was under the assumption you had to apply as Inland if the Applicant was in Canada. Is this assumption wrong?

I had assumed the same thing, but it appears that you can file an Outland application while residing in Canada. My immigration consultant informed me about it.

The catch is that the application will be processed in your country of citizenship, and if you are invited for an interview, you must travel to your country of origin. However, you are free to provide your biometrics and medical information anyplace you choose. An Outland application allows the PA to travel while the application is being processed - this is precisely why we selected this option.
